LG confirm that they will launch Android based flip phone
called LG Wine Smart into international market. Previously, the phone was only
offered to their own headquarter, South Korea, under the name of LG Gentle.
LG Wine Smart presence in the international market will
begin in this month, including France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Japan
and the United Kingdom.
LG Wine Smart has a classic shape in the form of a flip
screen that can only be found in the golden days of Java and symbian phones. In
some countries, this phone is considered unique and worthy to be collected.
LG Wine Smart has been running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop
operating system, so in the user interface term, it is one step ahead of the
others. Furthermore, this smartphone is supported by 1,1GHz quad-core
processor, 1GB RAM, and 4GB internal memory.
LG Wine Smart's screen size is fairly small, only 3.2 inch
with the resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, in harmony with the cameras which are only
3MP for the rear camera, and VGA for the front camera.
Interestingly LG Wine Smart has supported the 4G LTE for
super-fast internet connection. In addition, this smartphone also has 3G networks,
WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 and a battery capacity of 1.700mAh. In South
Korea, LG Wine Smart is offered at a price of $ 170, so for the international
market perhaps the price won't be much different.
