For mobile warriors - the term for those who frequently
travel or spend more time outside the office, the existence of a portable
keyboard is essential in addition to the internet access and mobile computing
devices.
Nowadays the existence of portable keyboard is not a strange
thing anymore; there are so many portable keyboard options in the market for the
users of smartphones and tablets. However, the latest portable keyboard from LG
has unique features. LG Rolly Keyboard offers flexibility and convenience for
the mobile warriors who want to type on their smartphones or tablets.
Instead of using a folding design, LG presents a roll style.
But unlike the rollable keyboards that are made of flexible silicone, the LG's
roll keyboard uses a solid material and also has a comfortable tactile-feedback
so that users will feel like typing on the regular PC keyboard.
LG Rolly Keyboard has four rows of a standard QWERTY
keyboard, including some short-cut keys to execute a number of additional
features offered on this keyboard. When rolled up, this keyboard will looks
like a short stick that enables users to easily put it into the bag.
The device also has a pair of foldable stands to place the Android
or iOS tablet or smartphone when it’s paired with this keyboard.
LG Rolly Keyboard can be connected to two devices at once
via Bluetooth 3.0 connection, but the usage must be done alternately through
the switch shortcut key that's available on the keyboard. The LG claims that by
only using a single AAA-battery, the keyboard can be used for at least three
months with standard intensity use.
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to buy the LG Rolly Keyboard in near future because LG will start to ship it to America next month,
and then Europe, Latin America and Asia in the fourth quarter of this year. LG
will also showcase this product at IFA 2015 event that will take place in
Berlin on 4 to 9 September 2015.
