Google Project Tango tablet that was announced in February
last year and then sold in the United States on May this year, can now be
purchased in Canada and South Korea. Both countries become the first countries
outside the United States where the Tango Project is now officially available.
Furthermore, GSMArena reported that this tablet will also be sold in a number
of countries.
Google said that the Google Project Tango tablet will also
be available in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway,
Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK starts from 26 August.
Project Tango is equipped with special hardware and software
features that allow users to track 3D motion and also the environment geometry.
The tablet device which has 7-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution is
supported by NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset, 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM, as well as a
built-in battery capacity of 4960 mAh.
In terms of cameras, Project Tango is equipped with 4 MP 2μm
RGB-IR pixel rear camera, and 1MP IR LEDs front camera, the device also offers
LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity.
