When accessing Facebook, we often see a number of long
posts, and perhaps they are more suitable to be put as blog posts. Facebook
actually has provided a special place to put the long posts in a feature called
Notes. Unfortunately, the appearance of Facebook Notes is not too interesting,
just a blank white page without any accent.
But Facebook apparently is processing a new idea to enhance
the Notes feature. Facebook is testing a new update that basically will change
the Notes just like a blogging platform, so users can make long posts in
Facebook Notes with a more interesting appearance.
The new version of Facebook Notes looks very similar to the
Medium blogging platform. It is not too surprising, because the Teehan &
Lax design team - that helped to create the initial version of the Medium - now
joins with Facebook design team.
In addition to be more attractive, users will also be able
to slip the cover photo, tag the other users, and put link or hashtag. Just
like a standard post, users can also choose to share the Notes to the public or
certain people only.
So far this Facebook Notes update is undergoing testing
stage along with a number of selected users only. No information about its
presence for public users. You can see an example in this Facebook page.
