After wandering in Southeast Asia, the Android One project
finally comes to African continent together with the Infinix vendor. Through a
device called HOT 2, Infinix will start its debut in Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast,
Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria with a price of $ 87.
Although there was skeptical response related to Android One
project, but it seems that Google is not affected and still decides to bring
Android One to new regions which have impressive growth of internet and mobile
usage.
Along with the initial mission of Android One that wants to
encourage the featured phone users to switch to smartphones by offering
affordable devices, HOT 2 is presented with affordable price but brings
reliable spec.
Infinix HOT 2 is packed with 5-inch screen at a resolution
of 720p. It's supported by Mediatek 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor along with 2GB
RAM; there is also 1GB RAM option for those who want to get more rebates.
Infinix HOT 2 is more interesting because it is equipped
with an 8MP main camera on the back, and a 2MP front camera to take selfie
photos and video calls. Infinix also includes 16GB internal memory and 2.200mAh
battery so that users can use the smartphone more freely.
This first Android One smartpone of Infinix will run on
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, and guarantees the update to Android
6.0 Marshmallow in the future.
