Undo Send feature allows Gmail users to cancel email delivery

Gmail Undo Send

When our concentration is disturbed, sometimes we make a mistake by sending an email to the wrong person, and this action can cause fatal consequences!

Therefore, Gmail Labs introduced the 'Undo Send' feature in 2009. After six years later, this feature is finally officially released.

Undo Send can now be activated by all Gmail users without having to visit the Google Labs first. Those who already use its Labs version, this feature will be enabled by default, and for those who haven't used it, you can select this feature in the Settings page, General tab.

Gmail Undo Send

Undo Send feature allows Gmail users to cancel email delivery. So when activated, you will see 'Undo' button every time you want to send an email. If you realize that you have made a mistake, you can press the button, and then the system will cancel the delivery.

The time span can also be set as desired, ranging from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. So if indeed you need 30 seconds to realize the mistake, well ... you have an option.

Important note: Undo Send feature is not yet available for Gmail mobile application; you can only use it when you access the Gmail from a web browser.
