Recently Oppo surprisingly shows off a new low-cost Android
smartphone called Oppo Joy 3. This smartphone becomes a sign that this Chinese
vendor has decided to skip the second series that was supposed to be the next
number of the first Oppo Joy. Whatever the reasons behind that decision, the
most important thing is now Oppo Joy 3 has been available for the Oppo fans
around the world.
Oppo Joy 3 brings 4.5 inch TFT type screen with the support
of 16 million colors and a resolution of FWVGA (854 by 480 pixels). The
combination of screen that's synonymous with other entry-level smartphones.
Moving into the camera components, Oppo equips the Oppo Joy 3 with 5MP main camera and 2MP front camera which are supported by a number of
useful features, including Normal mode, Beautify, HDR, Panorama, Audio photo,
GIF and Double Exposure.
About the performance, Oppo entrusts it to the 1.3GHz
Quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor that's combined with Mali-400MP2 graphic
and 1GB RAM. Unfortunately, the internal memory is only 4GB, but don’t’ worry
because Oppo has pinned a microSD slot for up to 32GB additional memory.
Oppo Joy 3 is equipped with ColorOS 2.0 and runs on Android
4.4 KitKat operating system. In addition, this smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh
battery that is good enough for an entry-level smartphone.
Oppo also offers interesting additional features such as
Screen-off gesture technology that allows users to turn on the smartphone only
by double tap, play music by sliding the screen, open the camera by making a
circular motion, and V motion to activate the flash. Then there is Screen-on
Gesture for various purposes that can be adjusted, and the last feature is
Smart Call that will answer the calls automatically when the phone is brought
closer to the ear.
Oppo Joy 3 will be available in two colors, white and gray.
But the information related to price and availability is still not revealed
yet.
