Opera Mini is known for its
ability to save data usage. But in the latest update of its iOS version, Opera
Mini brings a unique feature that's not owned by other browsers.
This feature is called 'Night
Mode'. As the name implies, this feature is designed specifically for users who
frequently browse at night using their iPhone or iPad.
However, this feature doesn't only
change the bright color into dim, when the Night Mode is activated, the display
can be dimmed up over the limit that has been set by IOS itself. Thus, the
color of websites you open can appear properly as it should, but it won't be
too dazzle.
To enable the Night Mode, you can
directly open the Settings page by touching the 'Opera' logo at the bottom.
This setting applies only for Opera Mini application; when returning to the
home screen or another application, the screen brightness will return to
normal.
At the same time, Opera Mini also
presents the 'Bedtime' option to accompany the Night Mode. Simply put, Bedtime
will make the screen look a bit orange so that your eyes won't get tired
easily.
Furthermore, the Opera Mini
development team believes that scientifically the Bedtime feature can help
users who have sleep disorders. They explain that generally human brain will
associate the orange color with sunset, and then interpret it as the time for
sleep. Well ... a quite interesting theory.
The Opera Mini for IOS version
10.2.0 can now be downloaded directly through the App Store.
