In a theory of EDP (Electronic Data Processing), a keyboard
is functioning as an input device, but the Taiwanese company has managed to
create a keyboard that not only functions as input device, but it is also able
to be an output device.
Sho U is a company that has managed to pack a special
keyboard named KiBoJet. Besides as an input device, KiBoJet has been equipped
with Pico Projector device. This projector will emit a display on the surface
of a wall, whiteboard or other blank surfaces, so that users no longer need a
monitor as an output media, wow interesting isn't it?
To be able to work optimally just like a standard computer
device, the manufacturer has provided a HDMI slot which can be fitted with a
mini-computer devices such as Asus Chromebit or Intel Compute Stick. Later this
keyboard can run desktop operating systems just like PCs in general. However,
without a mini computer device or Compute Stick, this keyboard can only be used
to display images and video player.
In addition, the KiBoJet also has been equipped with 3-watt
speakers feature as output for audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, HDMI and Ethernet
port to connect to the LAN network/ Internet via an RJ-45 cable.
Unfortunately, the Sho U KiBoJet is still a prototype and
will be available on the market in 2016, but the demo was already on display at
the Computex 2015 held in Taipei last week.
Additional information mentions that the projector embedded
in KiBoJet is capable of displaying Full HD resolution image with sizes between
21 inch to 33 inch, in a light intensity of 150 lumens, it's enough to give
adequate display in the room.
