Not only once, but several times
Adobe has released new mobile applications for iOS. So far iOS has got cool new
applications, such as Adobe Comp CC, while Android only gets Lightroom app and
the Creative Cloud application for file management.
In sort, the Android devices
users feel discriminated by Adobe. However, Adobe wants to fulfill the promises
they have announced on their official blog: they will bring mobile applications
that become part of Adobe Creative Cloud for Android devices start from this
summer.
Four applications have been sent
to Google Play: Photoshop Mix, Color CC, Brush CC and Shape CC. As has been
reported previously, Adobe now prefers to design mobile applications that can
only run certain tasks, but optimally. Therefore, Photoshop Touch was retired.
Photoshop Mix can be regarded as
a mini version of Photoshop. In this application, you can combine multiple
images, manipulating the color only in certain areas, as well as photo editing
in general. Furthermore, your work can be shared via social media, or sent to
the Photoshop CC application on your Mac or PC for further modifications - with
a note that you have subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud.
Color CC is a very useful
application for designers. You can take the existing colors in an image, and
then make color theme to be used in Adobe applications in Mac or PC, such as
Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
Much like Color CC, the Brush CC
can change areas on a photo into a variety of unique brushes for use in
Photoshop or Illustrator on a desktop.
And the last one is Shape CC
which is one of reliable features for designers. The application can change a
picture or photograph into vector graphics, to then be used in Photoshop or
Illustrator.
Four of these applications can be
obtained via Google Play for free. You can still use it without subscribing to
Adobe Creative Cloud, but you will lose synchronization features as above.
