The tablet variants available on the market today are very
diverse. But tablet that's designed specifically for the games is still very
rare. One big name that monopolizes this market is the NVIDIA Shield tablet.
But NVIDIA Shield now has a new competitor, Acer confirm
their readiness to attract the mobile games enthusiasts around the world by
releasing a new gaming tablet, Predator 8 at the Computex 2015.
Acer Predator 8 has been pinned with quality components that
are packaged especially to run upscale mobile game titles.
Unlike other gaming tablets that rely on Qualcomm processor,
Acer equips the Predator 8 with 14nm Intel Atom x7 processor which also becomes
its debut in the Android tablet packing. Previously the same processor was also
used by Windows-based tablet, Microsoft Surface 3.
It's a quad-core processor component that produces the
normal speed of 1.6GHz but can be increased to 2.3GHz in Burst mode. As the
foundation of the graphics processing, Acer relies on16-core eight-gen Intel HD
Graphics GPU. With it, the Predator 8 is expected to process the games and 3D
videos without halting.
On the outside, there are clear lines on the back of the
tablet, gives muscular impression in accordance with the tough specification
offered.
Unfortunately, there's not much information given by Acer in
the Computex 2015 event, such as the screen specification, RAM, operating
system, and also about the price and release date. But it's said that the
tablet will also be equipped with four speakers on the corner of the device
complete with red color that decorates them.
