Ahead of the LG G4 official announcement, we had seen a lot
of leaks, rumors and teasers that were launched by LG itself. There are many
things from LG G4 that can be discussed, but there are three things that seem
to be the focus of LG: the design, display and camera.
One drastic change after G3 is the new Arc Slim design;
there is a light curved line that reminds us of the LG G Flex, although not
with a striking arch angle. At the front there is a significant increase of 5.5
screen with Quad HD IPS Quantum display (2560 x 1440 pixel) which serving a
pixel density of 538ppi.
There are two types of rear cover offered by LG, the first
cover is made of pure ceramic with 3D pattern, and this ceramic cover is
presented in some color choices: White, Metallic Gray and Gold. Other material
is made of genuine leather in six attractive colors: Black, Brown, Red, Sky
Blue, Beige and Yellow.
The interesting thing about LG G4 component is the use of
Snapdragon 808 processor, instead of Snapdragon 810 which technically is the
best chipset of Qualcomm today. Snapdragon 808 is a chipset that's composed of
hexa-core processor which offers a unique combination, where there are
high-performance dual core and power saving quad core, it supports 64-bit
computing, and is accompanied by Adreno 418 GPU graphics processor, 3GB RAM,
and 32GB internal memory that can be expanded with a microSD external memory.
At the back of LG G4 there is a 16MP F/1.8 camera with
Optical Image Stabilization and laser focus, it's capable of capturing high
quality images even at low lighting conditions. LG stresses the performance of
shutter speed, the ability to save in RAW format, Gesture Shot, Quick Shot,
Color Spectrum Sensors, and some shooting modes. In addition there is an 8MP
front camera, and both of cameras are capable of recording video in 2160p
resolution.
LG G4 will be release by default with Android 5.1 Lollipop operation
system, of course with some typical tweaks of LG and UX 4.0 interface. To
support the operational, LG has provided 3.000mAh battery which is claimed 20%
more durable than its predecessor despite with the constant use of 4G LTE.
