In a show at New Delhi, India, a former Google executive who
is now the Vice President of Global Xiaomi, Hugo Barra performed on stage to
introduce a new flagship device named Mi 4i, the twin of Mi 4 which is
available in a wide choice of bold colors.
Attended by more than 1,500 Mi Fans in India, Xiaomi Mi 4i
started its debut with a number of promising features. Xiaomi Mi 4i brings the 5
inch Sharp/JDI screen with 1080p Full HD resolution and wrapped with unibody
polycarbonate or luxurious plastic material which is polished with a soft layer
to prevent scratch and fingerprints.
Xiaomi Mi 4i brings 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 lens and
dual tone flash, HDR, and a number of other features of modern photography,
accommodate the needs of mobile photography, one of the best at this time. Then
in front of this device there is a 5MP camera with f/1.8 lens that's able to
deliver sleek selfie photos. Thanks to the 80 degree wide angle and Beautify
feature, the selfie photos will be more optimal.
Moving to the inside of the device, Xiaomi Mi 4i is equipped
with the second generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with octa-core
processor that supports 64-bit computing. The octa-core is a combination of
higher quad-core Cortex A53 with speed of 1.7GHz along with other quad-core at
speed of 1.1 GHz which is more power efficient.
Additional support is provided by 2GB RAM for multitasking
needs, combined with 16GB internal memory that's quite big to accommodate data
storage needs. Xiaomi also pins dual standby 4G in order to provide the best
data connection to the users.
Another special thing from the Xiaomi Mi 4i is the
availability of other components which are made by three best vendors in the
world: Qualcomm, Samsung and Sony.
Xiaomi also cooperates with Foxconn to produce minimalist
motherboard to provide more space for other components. As a result, Xiaomi Mi 4i can accommodate
battery component which is 38% more powerful than the other smartphones in the
same size, even 72% larger than the iPhone 6 battery. Yes, with 3.120mAH
battery, Xiaomi Mi 4i can last up to 1.5 days with normal use.

Armed with Android 5.0 Lollipop which is polished ala MIUI
6, Xiaomi Mi 4i will be sold in India from 30 April with a price of Rs 12.999.
There are several color options you can choose: black, white, orange, blue and
pink. After India, next May, the Mi 4i will also start its journey on other
markets such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
