With one Moscase you can add a number of functions on your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus

Moscase
Through a Kickstarter project, Moscase plans to bring a number of surprises for the owners of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Physically, Moscase doesn't look much different from the bumper-type casing in general. But there is a prominent part underneath, indicating that it needs to be connected with the iPhone 6 Lightning port to deliver new functionalities.

Through the Lightning connectivity, Moscase wants to turn your iPhone 6 into a complete health tracker. There are a number of sensors embedded inside this casing, such as optical sensor that can monitor heart rate and oxygen level in the body through the blood flow in the arteries located on your fingers.

Then there is also a smart sensor that's capable of measuring stress level and percentage of body fat just by asking you to hold the phone. The Moscase developer also pins the heat sensor that's capable of measuring the temperature of 0 to 100 degrees Celsius.

All data will be stored in Moscase App. This companion application can also obtain data from the default Health application of iOS 8 and a number of other popular health applications.

Furthermore, Moscase developer also introduces a modular concept with a series of removable backplates. These backplates will provide new functionalities to the iPhone 6.

In addition to the passive backplates, they also provide five types of active backplates: Breathalyzer, Rocker, Collector, Booster and Reader. Each of them has different functionality.

Breathalyzer is able to analyze the level of alcohol in the body through the breath. Rocker can boost your iPhone 6 audio performance through a pair of big speakers. Collector can change the iPhone 6’s back to be a solar panel. Booster will enhance battery life and storage capacity. Finally, the Reader will add a power efficient e-paper screen for reading purposes.

All these functions will be regulated by a microcontroller which is located below the Moscase Lightning connection. Without adding complexity, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus can still be charged directly despite being covered by Moscase.

Moscase campaign on Kickstarter is still ongoing. The lowest pledge worth $ 133 will give you one Moscase bumper in any of eight colors, with a matching passive backplate. The active backplates with various functions will be sold separately for $ 79 - $ 99 each.
