Perhaps Dell doesn't produce too many tablets just like
Samsung and Apple, but this American electronics company has opened April 2015
with some special surprises for consumers. Dell presents a new flagship tablet
device called Dell Venue 10 7000. This device is Android 5.0 tablet for
professional users. This tablet is the successor of the previous tablet, Venue
8 7000.
Compared with Venue 8 7000 tablet - which had won the 'Best
of Innovation honoree' from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) in
January 2015 - Dell Venue 10 7000 itself is an Android tablet with fresher and
bigger design. From the name we can guess that the Venue 10 7000 has a screen
size of 10 inch or more exactly 10.5 inch, which is capable of displaying
images with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Although it has the same screen resolution with the Venue 8
7000 tablet, but the bigger screen of Venue 10 7000 certainly will offer more
comfort for users, especially for those who often work in mobile. The touch of
cylinder design at the bottom of the screen when it is positioned in landscape
makes this tablet looks more interesting. Dell Venue 10 7000 is combined with a
pair of stereo speakers mounted on the part which is also becoming a place for
the battery.
Dell Venue 10 7000 is orchestrated by Intel Atom Z3580
quad-core processor, and has 8 megapixel camera with RealSense 3D technology
feature. Dell claims that the Venue 10 7000 camera will offer the depth map of
the images taken.
Because it is designed as a professional tablet device, Dell
has equipped the Venue 10 7000 with Dell Mobile Management and Dell Mobile
Workspace that allow users to access this tablet device through any device
using the browser application and internet connection
Dell Venue 10 7000 also has been equipped with the Android
For Work app, a special service for corporate users where they can take advantage
of Android devices to access the information in the corporate environment
safely and comfortably.
Based on information from GSMArena, Dell Venue 10 7000 is
also equipped with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity that can be
increased by inserting a microSD memory card in the available slot. The tablet
also offers the ability to survive for 7 hours in a single charge thanks to the
support of 7,000mAh battery.
Dell Venue 10 7000 is also offered with the optional
keyboard accessory, with feature that can light up the keyboard when used in a
dark room. When the keyboard is plugged in, users can place the tablet at five
different usage modes.
According to the plan, Dell will release this tablet in May
2015 at a price of US $ 499 without a keyboard or for US $ 629 plus keyboard
accessory. But for the beginning, Dell
will only provide this device to consumers in the US, Canada and China.
