Speaking about automotive, perhaps most of people are more
familiar with some car brands from Germany, Japan and Italy compared to brands
from France. But Renault has an important role in the car racing sports,
especially in the fields of Rally and Formula 1. And the latest trailer of Slightly
Mad Studios’ racing simulator game is seemingly created as a tribute to
Renault.
Project CARS is created to be a realistic racing simulation
game with similar approaches to Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport series. And
like its competitors, there are two factors that are strongly emphasized by the
developer: the level of realism and graphics. For now, Project CARS has been
tested only by 80,000 testers, but thanks to the dozens of trailers on YouTube,
we can see that this game has a charming graphics.
The most recent trailer is not much different from the
previous trailers. You will see the beauty of Project CARS virtual racing world
complete with reflection effect in the car, sunlight, lens flare, to how the
wheels and asphalt burn each other and emit smoke. Some scenes will remind you
to the Top Gear series.
Some support systems of the game are also revealed by
Slightly Mad Studios. There is a feature called Driver Network, the Time Trial
mode where you can download a 'ghost' of Project CARS fellow gamers to be a
rival, plus regular community events. You are welcome to perpetuate and share
the proudest moment (photo or replay).
If you are not too familiar with the racing simulation genre
but want to enjoy the Project CARS, you are free to customize the game
according to ability and comfort level. Project CARS is compatible with more
than 40 types of control peripherals and can be played at a resolution of 12K,
or more familiar with using the Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus, and Nvidia
Shield.
Project CARS will soon be released in mid of May 2015 at the
Windows PC platform, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One.
Below is the Project CARS trailer for Lykan hypersport, the
car which also appears in Fast & Furious 7 movie.
