Camera feature has now become one of the mainstays for
mobile device manufacturers, including Huawei which has just introduced P8.
Even Huawei claims that the image results of Huawei P8 will be able to compete
with the photo results of DSLR camera.
Advanced camera feature
Huawei P8 is the world's first smartphone that's equipped
with a camera sensor which's able to captures light in the pattern of RGBW
(red-green-blue-white). Coupled with O.I.S (optical image stabilization), P8
camera is claimed to be reliable in taking images at low light condition. The
O.I.S feature itself can handle the shock effects up to two times more
effective than the camera on iPhone 6 Plus. In addition, Huawei also equips
this device with a separate image processor that's capable of handling a variety
of tasks such as noise reduction, face recognition, and so forth.
Another interesting feature is the Light Painting mode that
allows you to make some creations with a flashlight or catch a glimpse of light
at night. There is also Director mode to help you capturing and editing video.
Unfortunately, the 13 megapixel main camera is only capable of recording Full
HD video. For those who like selfie, Huawei P8 brings a 8-megapixel front
camera.
Specifications and attractive design
Huawei P8 runs with Kirin 935 chipset and octa-core
Cortex-A53 processor and also 3GB RAM. With this chipset, the power consumption
can be reduced. Huawei claims that P8 will be able to last up to 1.5 days if
used intensively. P8 also uses new technology of Signal+ that has two antennas
at above and below to ensure the best signal capture.
Huawei P8 comes with 6,4mm aluminum body, slightly thinner
than the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6. The design concept combines straight
lines with smooth curvature on the side of the body. P8 will be presented in
four colors: Mystic Champagne, Prestige Gold, Titanium Grey, and Carbon Black.
Those colors will remind you on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. In addition, the
5.2-inch screen uses IPS Neo technology with Full HD resolution that makes it
has a pixel density up to 424 ppi.
Huawei P8 will be available in two choices of internal
memories: 16GB and 64GB. There is also
microSD slot that shares space with the second SIM card slot. It means that you
can use only one SIM card if fill the second slot with a microSD card. For the
price, P8 Standard version (16GB version with Grey or Champagne color) will be
sold at 499 EURO. While the P8 Premium version (64GB version with Black or Gold
