Facebook presents the web-based messenger app through messenger.com

Facebook web-based messenger

Facebook has just launched another web-based service through messenger.com. This service is basically a chat feature or better known as the Messenger but made separately from the Facebook main site.

You've probably experienced the situation when chatting via messenger but then interrupted by notifications of reply, mention, friend requests, and so forth, causing discomfort feeling when chatting. Well, the new service of web-based messenger is designed to eliminate such disturbances. Users who use the messenger service intensely to communicate with friends or family, perhaps by reason of feeling reluctant to engage in open conversation, now can feel more comfortable and more focused without being distracted.

Messenger.com now can be accessed by users with native English language. So, if you're used to communicate with a language other than English, you may not be able to try this service comfortably, but you still can see the features offered. The main page will remind you on the mobile version of the messenger application due to similarities of background colors and letters

Facebook also complete this app with explanations of features that can be done in this new service. Such as sending text messages, high-quality voice calls, pinning or take photos from webcam, support stickers, send voice recording and group conversation feature.

Although the web-based messenger service has been released separately, but Facebook seems won't remove the old messenger service from their main site. So if you don't like this new application, you can still use the messenger through the Facebook main site.
