WhatsApp voice call finally lands on iOS platform, following
its competitor, Android, which was luckier to get the first turn at the end of
March. This news becomes a special gift for iOS users who have been waiting for
this feature since the rumors spread for the first time.
Unfortunately, this feature hasn't been able to be used by
all users of iOS, because WhatsApp will release the update gradually for some
time to come. If you don't see the feature, don't worry because WhatsApp has
confirmed the presence of this voice call feature as stated in the most recent
announcement in the App Store.
WhatsApp also ensures that the voice call feature can be
used for free, even by people who chat from two different countries. But it
certainly is not completely free, because to do the call you are still charged
with Internet data fee, but of course it will be cheaper than using the
cellular plan’s voice minutes.
In addition to launching the voice call feature, WhatsApp
also provides a number of updates for their application, such as sharing
photos, videos and links from other application via WhatsApp, fast camera
button in the chat panel, contact modification from the application, and the
ability to send videos in large quantities at once.
