Probably most photographers have ever used Lightroom to edit
their photos. Lightroom is Adobe software that's designed specifically for
editing and organizing photos, more specific than the image manipulation
functions offered by Photoshop. There are many reasons why photographers love
to choose Lightroom as favorite photo editing software. Lightroom offers easy
operation system and a complete range of tools to beautify their photographs.
After nearly two years Lightroom 5 has operated, now Adobe
releases a new successor for this software: Lightroom 6. The Adobe Lightroom 6
brings a number of new features and improvements in overall performance.
Lightroom 6 users can now create high-contrast images with
HDR Merge tool. Simply put, this tool allows you to combine multiple photos
with different exposure settings into one image with high dynamic range.
Lightroom 6 also presents the Panorama Merge tool, where you
can combine multiple images - RAW format is also supported - into a single
panoramic picture. At the same time, Facial Recognition tool is able to
recognize different faces in each photo so that you can create categories based
on each individual.
Filter in Lightroom 6 can also be tethered to certain areas
using Filter Brush tool. You can choose which parts of the photo that want to
be edited with precision.
Adobe Lightroom 6 now also serves as movie maker software
that allows you to combine multiple photos, videos and music with beautiful
effects such as panning or zooming.
In addition, Lightroom 6 now feels much more responsive than
its predecessor; the improvement of processing speed can reach up to 10 times.
Adobe Lightroom 6 now can be purchased for $ 149. Lightroom
6 is also available as part of Adobe Creative Cloud subscription service with
the name Lightroom CC. The main benefit you can get if you choose to subscribe with
the Lightroom CC rather than buying Lightroom 6 separately is the
synchronization with Lightroom Mobile, which is now also available for Android
tablets.
Not only sync with its mobile version, Lightroom CC also
integrates with Adobe Voice and Adobe Slate applications on iPad. Simply put,
you can create content in both the applications by utilizing the photos stored
on your Lightroom CC library.
