Taking too many photos often makes the sorting process
becomes longer. The reason is we must sort the photos that want to be kept or
deleted. The more photos taken, obviously the longer the sorting process will
last.
However, such problem can be solved with the help of
artificial intelligence (AI), in which the machine learning technology can
implement advanced algorithms for sorting photos instantly once automatically,
so users only need to edit some of the best photos from a photo shoot.
That's the concept of Picturesqe, a photo editing software
for Windows - its Mac version will follow soon - it's aimed for photographers
who often take photos in large quantities.
Picturesqe works in three steps. The first step is the
software will classify photographs that resemble one another. After grouped,
those photos will be sorted based on the best image quality by considering many
variables such as the sharpness of focus, exposure accuracy and so forth.
Lastly, there is Intelligent Zoom feature where the photos
will be enlarged in the same section and are placed next to each other so that
the users can compare the photos quickly and easily. Furthermore, users can
simply edit the photos as usual.
Users can use the Picturesqe freely during the first three
months, including a plugin for Adobe Lightroom. After three months, users will be
charged a subscription fee of $ 10 per month, $ 15 per three months, or $ 40
per year.
