Do you still remember with the Impossible Instant Lab
Universal? It's a unique device that can turn the digital photos on a
smartphone into analog photos ala Polaroid. The developer now has just
introduced its first camera called Impossible I-1.
Impossible I-1 is claimed as a new generation of instant
camera that's popularized by Polaroid. It will merge two worlds that are
separated by time: the vintage impression of instant analog camera and the
modern design of digital control that's popular today.
This camera is basically an analog camera. It uses the
600-type film just like the film of Polaroid 600 series. Even so, it also packs
a number of modern features, such as rechargeable battery, autofocus, and LED
flash rows which form a circle that will work automatically adjusting the
lighting conditions and also the distance between camera and locked object.
Impossible Project as the developer also provides a
companion application which will provide extra functionality when the camera
and smartphone are connected via Bluetooth. From there the user will get full
manual control, ranging from the aperture, shutter speed, flash setting, and other
creative modes such as double exposure or long exposure.
Impossible I-1 wants to retain all the advantages that have
been brought by the instant analog camera and digital camera, and then packs
them in an innovative product that can captivate everyone, not just a community
of vintage or digital cameras. The device is scheduled to go on sale on May 10
at a price of $ 300.
