Do you still remember with a smartphone which's equipped
with 3x optical zoom capability named Asus Zenfone Zoom? This smartphone was
introduced at the beginning of 2015, and now this smartphone is finally
released in Taiwan after nearly a year disappeared without any news. However,
Asus ZenFone Zoom will be sold by using invitation scheme ala OnePlus.
Asus Zenfone Zoom is predicted would be a competitor of
Samsung Galaxy K Zoom due to the optical zoom feature which’s accompanying its
13MP camera. The device is claimed to have a better camera mechanism than its
rivals, because the new zoom system that moves horizontally, instead of
vertically as implemented by Samsung. This method allows Asus to suppress the
thickness of the device optimally.
In addition to the 3x optical zoom feature, the smartphone's
camera also promises high quality shots by the presence of OIS technology,
four-piece lens of Hoya, autofocus laser, 10-mirror and flash with the latest
technology.
Asus Zenfone Zoom also keeps excellent operational capabilities;
it's orchestrated by Intel Atom Z3580 processor, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of
memory. There is also a selection of other configuration with an Intel Atom
Z3590 processor and 128GB internal memory. The rest includes a microSD slot,
3.000mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop which gets a slick touch ala ZenUI.
Asus Zenfone Zoom 64GB variant is offered at a price of
$428, while the 128GB variant is offered in the range of $489.
