Samsung adds two new members for its laptop line a moment
before the holiday season arrives. Those two laptops are Ativ Book 9 Pro and
Ativ Book 9 Spin. Both are powered by Intel processor but they bring different
designs.
Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro is orchestrated by an Intel Core i7
6700HQ and Windows 10 operating system. This processor in normal condition can
generate the power of about 2.6 GHz and if needed, it can be enhanced up to 3.5
GHz via Turbo Boost activation.
The design of Ativ Book 9 Pro looks quite thick with a
15.6-inch screen at a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. Samsung claims that
the visual quality of Ativ Book 9 Pro will be higher than the actual resolution
thanks to additional features of HDR and Outdoor mode. The good news is this
laptop has brought Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M GPU with 2GB VRAM.
Samsung also announces a convertible hybrid variant which
brings 13.3 screen; the Ativ Book 9 Spin. If seen from the label, we would know
that this laptop has an ability to change shape. Samsung is pinning 360 degree
dual hinges that allow Ativ Book 9 Spin to be converted into laptop, tablet and
also standing on two legs (tent).
Ativ Book 9 Spin is orchestrated by Intel Core i7 6500U,
dual-core processor that's accompanied by the Hyper-Threading technology, it's
capable of running at speeds of 2.5 GHz and can be increased to 3,1GHz if
necessary.
Both laptops are equipped with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 720p
webcam, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, three USB 3.0 ports, a microSD reader, and an HDMI
port.
Samsung starts to sell both of laptops in this November on
the official website and a number of retailers. The price of each device is
ranging from $ 1.599 for Ativ Book 9 Pro, and $ 1.399 for the Ativ Book 9 Spin.
