After adorned a series of rumors, Google finally officially
introduces the Nexus 5X. Just like its predecessor, Nexus 5, the Nexus 5X is
also made by LG, it's polished with the evolution of the original design, the
Nexus 5X comes with some improvements in hardware and operating system.
Nexus 5X comes with a 5.2-inch IPS screen at a resolution of
1080 x 1920 pixels. This smartphone is orchestrated by a Snapdragon 808 chipset
that's consisting of hexa-core processor, Adreno 418 GPU, 2GB RAM, and two
choices of internal memory: 16GB and 32GB.
The camera features in Nexus 5X consist of 12,3MP rear
camera with an aperture of f / 2.0 and 1:55 micron pixels. This combination is
claimed to be the largest among other manufacturers' flagship smartphones.
While in front there is a 5MP camera with an aperture of f / 2.2, which is more
than enough to shoot selfie.
Not only exhibiting the numbers, LG also provides a line of
advanced photographic features for this new phone. Such as slow motion video at
120fps, burst shot with GIF format and 4K video recording capability at 30fps.
In addition to support for 4G LTE, Nexus 5X also gets
additional feature of fingerprint sensor which is claimed faster than other
similar technologies. And the most interesting is the Nexus 5X has been using
the most recent Android operating system, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Furthermore,
there are also a number of connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2 × 2
MIMO), NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS / GLONASS. This new smartphone is powered by
2700mAh battery.
Google has opened the pre-order phase that can be done
through Google Store with a price of $ 379 for the 16GB variant and $ 429 for
the 32GB variant. The device itself is planned to be launched in October.
