After adorning various rumors over the past few months,
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are officially introduced in the "Hey Siri"
event in San Francisco (09/09/2015) local time.
Claimed as the best generation of the 'S' variant, the
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus get a lot of changes, even they are called as the
most advanced iPhone models that have ever been made by Apple.
One of the most highlighted feature is the use of 7000
Series aluminum material that builds the frame of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s
Plus. The material that's adopted from Apple Watch is expected to minimize the
accusation of 'easily bent' that's often used by competitors or testers to
bully the products. With the use of this new material, the duo smartphones look
perfect.
Apple still maintains the screen sizes of the previous
generations, 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch for the Plus variant. The difference is, the
screens of both devices have better strength than their predecessors. In this
case Apple is once again adopting the technology of Apple Watch.
iPhone 6s has a screen resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels that
produces a density of 326ppi, while the Plus variant has a resolution of 1920 x
1080 pixels and a density of 401ppi. The iPhone 6s weighs 143 grams, while the
iPhone 6s Plus weighs 192 grams.
Not only that, the screens of both devices have been
equipped with a number of new technologies, one of which is the 3D Touch
feature, a smart feature that can distinguish between the touch and pressure at
the surface of the screen, and then gives a response that aims to facilitate
navigation on the menu.
Which makes 3D Touch more interesting is this feature not
only can be found in the home screen, but also in the application, supported by
Taptic Engine technology and capacitive sensor that are integrated into the
device's Retina display.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are equipped with12MP rear
camera with iSight technology that's capable of recording 4K video. In the
front there is 5MP FaceTime camera which can be relied to be used on minimum
light condition with the help of Retina Flash feature.
About the sensors, Apple claims that it has made a great
improvement by using the Touch ID second generation which is said two times
faster than previous version. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are powered by
A9 chip to run the main task at the heart of the devices, and interestingly
it's accompanied by M9 as co-processor.
iPhone 6s dan iPhone 6s Plus are available in three variants
based on memory capacity: 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. These two devices are presented
in many color choices: Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold.
The pre-order will begin on September 12, 2015. The list of
countries that will be visited first among others are America, Canada, France,
Germany, UK, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
