Gmail for Android introduces two new features: Block Sender and Unsubscribe

Spam has long been a major enemy of email users, and various attempts have been made to avoid the risk of spam. Intending to clean the email inbox, Google launches new features called "Block Sender" and "Unsubscribe" for Gmail application of Android version.

Block Sender

As the name implies, "Block Sender" feature serves to block specific email addresses that often send spam emails, phishing or the like. The email addresses that have been entered to the block list will automatically be moved to the spam folder.

This feature is easy to use, you only need to open the email that you find annoying, and then tap the menu button (three dots) and there you will see the option of Block "Sender name". But if necessary, you can unblock from setting panel.

Unsubscribe

The "Unsubscribe" feature is also very useful. This feature helps the users to unsubscribe from the mailing list of the group, e-commerce, or services without having to access the main website.

To use the "Unsubscribe" feature you only need to open the email, tap the menu button (three dots), and then tap Unsubscribe.

Block Sender feature has been implemented by Google for Android and also the Web version, while the Unsubscribe feature is applied only for the Android platform. The IOS users still have to wait to get the update of this Gmail features.
