Do you often use Dropbox? Dropbox is often used as a backup
place for various files including your precious photos. In fact, 60 percent of
users, both Dropbox Basic (free) and Dropbox Pro ($ 10 per month), utilize this
cloud storage service for working purposes. Dropbox itself also provides
Dropbox for Business service that's designed to facilitate employees to
collaborate on each other.
But if seen from the number of users that has reached 400
million, Dropbox feels the need to present collaboration feature for all users,
not only for the users of Dropbox for Business. For this purpose, Dropbox
introduces a new feature called Dropbox Team.
Simply put, Dropbox Team allows the account owners of
Dropbox Basic and Pro to collaborate easily, forming a team that's containing
several people at once. All the team members can access and share files in a
centralized folder. Over time, you can add new team members, and they can
access the various files that have been previously distributed.
Furthermore, for those of you who have separate accounts
(personal account and business account) can now 'merge' those two accounts, so
you can switch between personal account and business account with one login
only. This feature is expected to make users can balance between business and
personal life simultaneously.
The Dropbox Team feature will be available for the users of
Dropbox Basic and Pro accounts starting from next week. At first it can be used
for the web only, and then followed for Dropbox mobile application via an
update in the future.
