As we know Lenovo has many products under the ThinkPad line, however it doesn't make Lenovo stop to create a new product for the ThinkPad line. Lenovo has recently introduced the Lenovo ThinkPad P Series, a laptop with fierce specification so that it is more appropriate to be called as a mobile workstation.

If observed, the ThinkPad P Series name itself is taken from the workstations line that has been owned by Lenovo. This laptop is designed to meet the needs of professionals who put performance above all else, but of course in portable packaging.

Lenovo ThinkPad P Series consists of two models: P70 and P50. Both are powered by above average specifications. The main one is, both of ThinkPad P70 and P50 bring Intel Xeon E3-1500 v5 processor, this is a server-class processor that has been diminished to be planted into a laptop. Not only that, this processor has been using the new Skylake architecture which's introduced by Intel a few days ago.

Furthermore, there is a DDR4 RAM with a maximum capacity of 64 GB. Lenovo also offers SSD with a maximum capacity of 1 terabyte. About the graphic, Lenovo ThinkPad P Series relies on Nvidia Quadro GPU, which is designed to meet the needs of a workstation.

Lenovo ThinkPad P Series brings 17-inch screen (P70) or 15.6-inch (P50) at 4K resolution or 1080p with a touch panel, depending on customer's choice. On the side, you will find two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are essentially also USB-C ports.

The selling price of ThinkPad P70 starts at $ 2000, while the ThinkPad P50 is around $ 1,600 - it all depends on the configuration of the consumer's choice. These duo mobile workstations are scheduled to be released in the 4th quarter of 2015.
