Facebook is testing the profile page for mobile platform

After reportedly polishing the Notes feature to make it more functional just like a blogging platform, now Facebook is reportedly designing a new profile for the mobile application users.

From the screenshots that were launched by TheNextWeb.com and a tweet of @menazone showed profile pages which had undergone many changes. The most striking change could be seen from the profile photo that's placed in the middle, not on the left side just like usual.

@menazone highlights about the profile photo. According to the tweet, once the pic will be into a circle it definitely will change into Google+.

Another change of the profile page is the placement of the user name which is positioned under the profile photo. In addition, the cover photo is also polished slightly smaller than before. Unfortunately, because there is a popup text which tells about the profile new look, it's difficult to see if the About, Photos and Friends are still in the initial position or have been moved somewhere else.

According to the response that's given by Facebook's spokesperson to TNW, the company is testing a redesign of profile page on the mobile platform. The goal is that the layout will look better and users will get better information about a person.

In this year Facebook seems to work quite hard to deliver new innovations. Some of them are Security Checkup feature to ensure the account security, then there is an update of News Feed settings, and the most recently is the launch of live streaming feature on Facebook Moments.
