Apparently Tesla Model S gets a new challenger in its class. However, this new electric car is not coming from the US or other countries that are quite often to produce electric cars, but it's from China, which is quite reliable to replicate and enhance the popular products that have been available in the market.

This electric car is named Youxia X, and it looks exactly like the Tesla Model S. However, this car is not merely the clone of the Tesla Model S; the developer has provided a number of interesting elements inside this car.

Youxia Motors was founded by a 28 years old young man named Huang Xiuyuan who also serves as CEO of this company. If seen from the appearance, you can recognize that Telsa became one of inspirations to create this car, but not only that, it turned out that the CEO was also inspired by the Knight Rider, a popular TV series in the 80s.

Therefore, he then formed a team that's consisted of about 50 people to design a car with the style of Tesla Model S, plus a number of elements that were borrowed from KITT, the sophisticated car of actor David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider movie. Even the name of 'Youxia' itself was taken from the title of Knight Rider which was aired in China.

One of the uniqueness of Youxia X is its grille on the front. The grille is actually an LED panel that can display a variety of designs, ranging from Youxia Motors logo (which is also very similar to the logo of Tesla), the image of cat's head, and of course a series of red LEDs that won't be forgotten by the fans of Knight Rider series.

The inspiration from Knight Rider continues to the interior, which once again is very similar to the interior design of Tesla Model S. In the middle of the dashboard, you can see 17.3-inch touch screen to access the infotainment system. The system is claimed as the modification of Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is called KITT OS.

The KITT OS of Youxia X also brings a comprehensive connectivity. Based on the claim, this system can be connected with a variety of Android and iOS devices, including Apple Watch. Furthermore, the car owner can even choose the voice engine of popular cars - Ferrari LaFerrari! - that will be played in the cabin, adjusting  its electric motor performance.

Speaking of the electric motor, there are three variants that will be offered by Youxia X: 40 kWh, 60 kWh and 85 kWh. Each of them has a mileage of 220 km, 330 km and 460 km. About the speed, acceleration of 0-100 km/h can be achieved in 5.6 seconds, while its power ranges from 348 hp.

On paper, Youxia X looks very promising; moreover Youxia X will be sold at a price range of $ 32,000 - $ 48,000. Youxia X will be produced next year, and the sales may be started at least at the beginning of 2017.
