To replace the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 that was released a
year ago, now Panasonic introduces the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300.
Still with a design that resembles to a DSLR camera, the
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 is now more powerful with a body that's designed to
be resistant to water splashes and dust. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 is still
armed with LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens which has 24x optical zoom capability or
equivalent to 25mm-600mm lens. To support this lens, the Hybrid OIS image
stabilization system is also presented so that the images can remain sharp even
without the help of a tripod.
Behind the super zoom lens, you can find the 12.1 megapixel
CMOS sensor that's combined with the latest Venus Engine processor. The ISO
option is available up to ISO 6400 and there is also Continuous Shooting mode
with shooting speed up to 12fps. This Continuous Shooting mode is supported
with DFD (Depth From DeFocus) technology which offers super-fast autofocus
performance with focus lock speed of about 0:09 seconds.
The update on the processor also brings better improvement
in video mode. In addition to produce a video in Full HD resolution, the
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 can now record 4K video, 3840 x 2160 pixels. As a
complement, this camera also has brought electronic viewfinder, 3-inch flexible
screen and WiFi connection. According to the plan Panasonic Lunix DMC-FZ300
will be available in October 2015, at a price of US $ 599.
