A special moment that had been awaited by millions of OnePlus' fans finally arrived, the vendor kept its promise by introducing a device called The Flagship Killer, OnePlus 2 in the event that was held a few hours ago.

OnePlus 2 is designed with first-class materials and components. From the outside, OnePlus 2 brings 5.5-inch LCD In-Cell screen that's wrapped in super strong aluminum alloy and magnesium materials, it has a super solid stainless steel accents on all over of its body. OnePlus 2's screen is coated with the Gorilla Glass layer to protect the screen from scratches and collision. This smartphone's screen has a resolution of 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 401 PPI.

On the performance side, OnePlus 2 wears Snapdragon 810 chipsets that packs 1.8 GHz octa-core processor, Adreno 430 graphics and RAM that consists of two options: 3GB and 4GB. OnePlus 2 is also released in two choices of internal memory: 16GB and 64GB.

OnePlus 2 brings a 13MP main camera that's equipped with six lenses, OIS technology, laser focus and dual LED flash. Additionally there is a 5MP front camera for taking selfie and video calls. Furthermore, OnePlus 2 camera can record video with a resolution of 4K, and supports slow motion 720p at 120fps.

Some sensors are also embedded to support OnePlus 2, such as a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light. To sustain all the components above, OnePlus 2 is powered by 3.300mAh battery.

About the cover, in addition to Sandstone Black, OnePlus 2 also offers other cover options, including a cover that's made from genuine bamboo wood, Black Apricot, Rosewood and Kevlar.

As a sweetener, OnePlus 2 runs on OxygenOS based on Android 5.1 operating system. Reportedly, the 16GB variant will be offered at $ 329, and 64GB variant is priced at $ 389 - with an invitation system. OnePlus 2 will be launched on 11 August starting from the United States, Canada, India, Europe and China. The Southeast Asian market will be visited in the fourth quarter of 2015.
