LG has just introduced a new projector device of the
Minibeam family. The Minibeam Nano (PV150G) comes with a tiny dimension, only
10cm x 10cm x 4cm and weighs 270 grams. With this tiny size, the Minibeam Nano
can be stored in a laptop backpack without difficulty.
Minibeam Nano can be used in easy way; this projector can be
connected to a smartphone using the wireless Miracast function or Wi-Fi Direct
to play the videos in the form of films or documents in a meeting. Its mini
size allows users to hold meetings anywhere.
Alternatively, the users can select a HDMI connection and USB
flash drive. The battery capacity of 3.800mAh is capable of providing two-hour
operational period.
Despite having a mini posture, Minibeam Nano can project
images up to 100 inches diagonally with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The
resolution is not too special, but as stated by LG in a press release, the
Minibeam Nano is a perfect projector for those who prioritize portability above
all else. Thus, the sharpness of images and videos is not a priority
highlighted by LG, but rather the portability.
LG also ensures that the projector's LED lamp can last up to
30,000 hours which is quite impressive. It means that the LED in Minibeam Nano
can be used for 10 years with the use of 8 hours a day.
To adjust the image and viewpoint, LG is pinning Auto
Keystone function that's easy to use. There is no information about the price
offered by LG, but the Minibeam Nano will be marketed to North America, Asia,
Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Africa in this month.
