For years, Adobe plays an important role in enhancing the
creative industries, especially in the visual field through their most famous
product, Photoshop. Therefore, it is understood if Adobe starts to build its
own photo-stock service. On June 16, 2015, they officially release Adobe Stock.
Adobe Stock is a service that offers photos, illustrations
and vector graphics. If you are still unfamiliar with this kind of service, you
can view Shutterstock and Getty Images, two of photo stock services that are
quite popular.
Adobe Stock packs approximately 40 million contents from
Fotolia service - Fotolia has been officially acquired by Adobe in earlier of
this year. The rates offered by Adobe stock are quite competitive: $ 10 per one
image, $ 30 per month for 10 images, and $ 199 per month for 750 images. These
rates are charged to those who subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud; beyond that,
the pricing will be different.
If you have subscribed to Creative Cloud, then the Adobe
Stock can be an ideal choice thanks to its good integration. Simply put, you
don't need to download image from Adobe Stock beforehand. Simply select the
desired image, and then the image is ready to be modified by using related
applications such as Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and other
applications that are part of Adobe Creative Cloud.
The integration is getting perfect with the existence of
trial feature offered by Adobe Stock. Simply put, you can first edit the
watermarked image (free) to preview the end result. Then if you are satisfied,
you can simply buy the picture, and your edited image will remain stored.
