Perhaps globally not many people who know about this British
brand, however the audio devices fans have been familiar with a number of
premium earphones made by RHA Audio. Their newest product, T20, still maintains
a balanced formula between design and sound quality, but with the addition of
new driver technology.
Just like the most of RHA earphones, theT20 has a solid
construction. Its earpieces are made of stainless steel, and there are ear
hooks that can be adjusted following the contours of user's ears. In addition,
these earphones are equipped with 1.35 meter long cable.
In each of the earpiece there is DualCoil driver which is
claimed able to reproduce the level of detail and clarity that exceeds the
conventional driver. This driver involves a magnet and two separate voice coil
that can manipulate the function of the diaphragm component.
The specialty lies in the function of each coil. The outer
coil is designed specifically to produce high-frequency sound (upper-mid and
treble), while the other coil is responsible for the low-frequency sound
(lower-mid and bass).
At the same time, RHA T20 also brings three pairs of
removable special filters to adjust the characteristics of the sound produced
with the user's taste. You can choose balanced filter, or filter that's
focusing on the bass or treble.
For those who pay attention to the specifications, the
frequency response on RHA T20 is 16-40000 Hz, with an impedance of 16 ohms and
sensitivity of 90 dB. Although made of metal, the total weight is still quite
mild, only about 39 grams.
There's no information about the price of RHA T20. It's
scheduled to go on sale in the summer of this year, and the sales package will
also include a series of ear tips in different shapes, materials and sizes, as
well as a carrying case.
