After a long period of development process along with all sorts of challenges, Microsoft has officially released Hyperlapse application that allows users to create video footage with 'time-lapse' effect on their smartphones.
Microsoft Hyperlapse application is now available for
Windows Phone and Android, but both versions seem to not fully finals. The Android
version still has beta label, showing that some bugs most likely still remain
in the application. Maybe that's why the Hyperlapse hasn't been brought to the
Google Play Store.
While the Windows Phone version hasn't been able to be used
by all compatible devices. Some devices that have been confirmed to support
this app are: HTC One M8 Windows, Lumia 435, Lumia 530, Lumia 532, Lumia 535,
Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 730,
Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 930, and Lumia 1520.
With Microsoft Hyperlapse, the users can make shorter video
by accelerating the recording pieces in the video. For example is when you
record a touring event with the motorcycle clubs. With a standard editing
process you will get a video with long duration up to tens of minutes or even
hours. Well, Hyperlapseis is able to turn it into short video with 1 or 2
minutes duration that could be distributed to all social networks you have. Microsoft
Hyperlapse also has a feature to neutralize the vibrations.
Additionally, Microsoft has created Hyperlapse Pro
application for PC. The Pro version allows users to edit video with a more
complete and complex tools.
Micorosft Hyperlapse will become the closest competitor of
Instagram that last year had released a similar application. For those of you
who are interested, you can join with Microsoft Hyperlapse community to obtain
