The popularity of The Avengers superheroes is increasing after
the Avengers: Age of Ultron was released in last April. Indeed there are a lot
of details from the comic version that were not inserted into the Hollywood
movies. For fans of Marvel comics, now there is a search engine that's created
specifically for all things about Marvel.
In order to celebrate their work for 70 years, Marvel has
recently released an API that can be used freely by developers. A developer
from the United States, Filix Mogilevsky, apparently moves fast; he creates a
search engine called iMarvel.
Indeed iMarvel is not officially made by the Marvel Comics,
but this search engine can display millions of data that's stored well in the
Marvel library. The display looks similar to the Google Search engine, with two
selections of category: Comics or Characters.
The search results are displayed in the form of a grid
that's filled with pictures. Click one of them, then brief information will be
displayed, complete with preview of a few pages and links to the official
website of Marvel to get fuller detail, as well as buy it in digital format.
iMarvel will only display the Marvel works in comic version.
You will not be able to get spoiler information of The Avengers: Infinity War
(Hollywood version) here.
