To get a comfort inside the car cabin you may be thinking that a limousine is the right answer to meet all your needs. But with the long body frame, of course it will bring difficulty when you want to take the car into the city where you are always stuck in the traffic jam. For that Volvo creates a new concept called Lounge Console.
Volvo Lounge Console comes through SUV XC90 Excellence
that's being exhibited at the Auto Shanghai 2015. The overhaul of the XC90's
interior brings luxury and comfort aspect to the car's cabin, makes it equal to
the first class flight service.
This Swedish car manufacturer cuts the third-row of their
flagship SUV, changes the front seat next to the driver with foot pads, and
provides hidden compartments in the XC90 Excellence cabin - creates a walking
lounge but still with normal body length.
The passenger on the back seat will get a very spacious leg
room, and of course, he/she could put his/her feet above the soft cushion. In order not
to waste the cabin space, the cushion also serves as a room to store shoes, and
also a special compartment for storing valuables.
Volvo seems to realize that in this modern era the
population of female executives is getting bigger; to facilitate the needs of female
executives, you only need to press a button to pull the front of the cushion, and
then a small table will move closer to you. When you open it, you will see a
portable mirror and dressing table that can also function as jewelry storage
box.
Rotates that small table into 90 degrees, then you will be
greeted by a 17-inch LCD screen so you can relax while enjoying multimedia
content. The Lounge Console is also equipped with a sophisticated lighting
system that will emit gentle light on certain parts of the cabin, without
disturbing another passenger or driver who's concentrating driving the vehicle.
In the middle, there is a cooler box. Press one button, then
another small table will be raised in front of you, complete with wine coasters.
