Ahead of the iPhone launch in 2007, Apple released video
guides on how to operate the device. Now, ahead of the release of Apple Watch
on 10th April 2015, Apple releases video guides on how to use the features
available on the smartwatch.
On their website, Apple releases four video guides on how to
use Apple Watch. The first video, entitled ‘Welcome to Apple Watch’, Apple
describes a brief overview of the hardware and software started from the
digital crown, glances, friends button, and touch force.
Clearly, Apple wants to make every effort so that the
enthusiasts who want to buy Apple Watch have an idea on what Apple Watch will
be and how it will be useful in everyday life.
The 3 next videos explain about the use of Messages, Watch
Face customization and also Digital Touch. On the Messages video, users can see
how to respond the incoming messages using Apple Watch. Watch Face
customization video explains how to display a range of information from the
Apple Watch screen. Users can add a variety of information such as weather
forecasts, agenda, and so on. Digital Touch video shows how the fellow users of
Apple Watch can exchange pictures or even the heart rates.
Through the released videos, we can see that the use of
Apple Watch is much different from the existed iOS devices, not only in terms
of UI but also the UX offered.
Apple still holds 7 other video guides including the use of
the Phone, Music, Siri, Maps, Apple Pay, Activity and Workout at Apple Watch.
The 7 additional videos may be released simultaneously with the release of
Apple Watch.
For those of you who want to have an Apple Watch, Apple
makes pre-order scheme which will be opened on 10 April. Or after April 24, you
can try Apple Watch directly at the Apple Store nearby.
