The users of Windows operating system will soon get the
latest update from Microsoft, i.e. Windows 10. Although the official release is
still several days ahead, but Windows users will get update notification
gradually, thus each user will get an update in different time.
The Windows users who will get the update notification for
the first time are those who listed in the Windows Insider Hub program. The
users will immediately get information about the upgrade on July 29, 2015.
After the Windows Insider group, the next users who have
reserved the Windows 10 will get the upgrade confirmation. The confirmation
will be given after the reservation application has checked the device support
to make sure that the upgrade process will run well. After the checking has run
successfully, you will get information on your tray system.
While for business users, especially for those who have
subscribed to volume licensing, they will get the Windows 10 build through the
Volume Licensing Service Center starting August 1, 2015.
If you want to do the final preparations toward the Windows
10 upgrading process, these are the things you need to do:
- Perform the reservation process through the application. This application will appear when you turn on the Windows Update feature.
- Prepare a storage space at least 3 GB for Windows 10 build and add up to 10 GB to facilitate the installation process.
- Turn on the Windows Update feature. For users of Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, the upgrade will be available through Windows Update system. Make sure this feature is active so that your system can get the latest information.
- Provide adequate Internet connection. The upgrade will be available via Windows Update that requires sufficient internet connection.
Microsoft also announces that several OEM partners have been preparing some devices with Windows 10 pre-installed by default. Of course we still need to wait for the types of devices that will be launched adjacent to the official launch of Windows 10.
