Besides Huawei which has just introduced a new smartphone
called Huawei Honor 7, in another place Meizu also does the same thing by
announcing a new smartphone variant called MX5. The MX5 is a smartphone with
5.5-inch Full HD screen that would certainly add the value of this device.
Meizu MX5 packs dimension of 149.9mm x 74.7mm x 7.6mm and
weighs 149 grams, relatively heavier than its predecessor, MX4, but its screen
brings a number of advantages, such as equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3,
has a pixel density of 401, carries AMOLED technology, and also a resolution of
1920 x 1080 pixels or equals to Full HD.
On the inside, Meizu MX5 relies on MediaTek's Helio X10
Turbo chipset which pairs octa-core ARM cortex-A53 processor at 2.2 GHz clock
speed, PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB RAM. This slick combination offers good
multitasking performance either for gaming or multimedia. Furthermore, MX5 is
offered in three options of storage capacities: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
Users will be spoiled with a very impressive camera
technology brought by Meizu MX5. This smartphone is equipped with 20,7MP main
camera with additional dual-tone flashlight, 6-element lens, f/2.2, and also
lens protection layer, Corning Gorilla Glass 3. While at the front, Meizu chooses
a 5MP camera which packs a number of features such as f/2.0, FotoNation 2.0 for
snapping selfie photos and Face AE technology.
Meizu also embeds a fingerprint scanner technology, mTouch
2.0, in this new smatphone. The three variants of Meizu MX5 will be priced at
around $ 290, $ 322 and $ 390. All three have received supports of dual SIM and
dual 4G stand-by. The additional mCharge technology allows users to obtain 60%
of energy only with 40-minute recharging.
