On last March, not long after Apple announced a new MacBook,
HP also introduced a flagship laptop called EliteBook 1020. Now, in order to
welcome the presence of Windows 10 that will be launched a few days ahead, HP
introduces the limited edition of HP EliteBook 1020 Bang & Olufsen.
The exterior of HP EliteBook 1020 Bang & Olufsen is not
much different from the variant that was introduced in March. However now it
looks much cooler with ash silver color - like gunmetal - and copper-colored
accent on its body. This elegant appearance is considered important because
this laptop is one of HP's flagship products in the new round of laptop
industry which is powered by Windows 10.
But of course, the other important things that need to be
highlighted are the inside components. HP has entrusted Bang & Olufsen to
compose the audio system of this EliteBook 1020 limited edition. In addition to
dual-array microphones and noise-canceling feature based on software, its
speaker unit is also modified as accurately as possible by this Danish audio
manufacturer.
Furthermore, the HP EliteBook 1020 Bang & Olufsen packs
all the advantages of standard variant. Although so far there's no
specification detail of this laptop, but it will likely bring 12.5 inch screen
with Quad-HD (2560 x 1440) resolution, accompanied by 720p resolution webcam.
This laptop will still rely on dual-core Intel® Core M Processor, 8 GB RAM and
SSD-based storage media.
Also the same as the standard version, this laptop will be
equipped with HP Premium Keyboard, which is claimed to be more responsive and
consistent than laptop's keyboard in general. About software, of course it will
run Windows 10 by default, and because it is designed for the business needs,
it also comes with special software such as HP Client Security and HP Biosphere
to secure stored data.
HP EliteBook 1020 Bang & Olufsen limited edition is reportedly
will be available start from autumn this year. There has been no confirmation
about the price of this laptop, but it will likely be more expensive than the
standard variant which was offered at $ 1,249.
