Indeed Instagram has been able to be accessed through desktop;
however, after about two years the appearance doesn't change too much, the
photos are still displayed one by one, wasting the user's widescreen.
Therefore, many people expect the presence of Instagram
application that's designed specifically for the desktop. Although there is no
official version from Instagram itself, but you can try this application to
access Instagram through your PC or Mac.
The name of this application is the Grids, and it was first
delivered at the end of last year for Mac. Now the same application can be
enjoyed by users of Windows PCs.
Grids has a clean and neat appearance. You are free to enjoy
it in fullscreen or windowed in any size. You can even use it in the form of
windowed extends downward, with the images displayed one by one as in the
Instagram application for Android and iOS versions.
Grids allows you to use more than one account. You can
bookmark other users, locations, hashtags, photos and videos. A notification
will also be given when you get a new follower, like, or mention in your
photograph.
Almost all the activities that can be done in the Instagram
application for Android and iOS can be done in Grids, except to upload photos
or videos. For information, even the web version of Instagram hasn't allowed us
to upload photos and videos.
So, if you like to open the Instagram on desktop just to
watch the pictures or video, you can use the Grids for free. This application
is available for Windows Vista to Windows 10, both the 32-bit and 64-bit. For
Mac users with OS X 10.8 and above, you can download through its website
directly or through the Mac App Store.
