Amazon introduces Amazon Fire

In the last few days Amazon was rumored preparing a new cheap tablet that's priced less than $ 50. Yes, the rumor is true, although not 100% accurate. Amazon has officially released a new 7-inch tablet - previously it's estimated only 6 inch - with a price of $ 49.99. Let's take look at the specification brought by this tablet.

Amazon Fire brings 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels (171ppi) and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, that's accompanied by 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. On the back there is a 2MP camera which can record in 720p HD, and in front there is only a VGA camera which certainly couldn't do too much.

Amazon Fire tablet is using the latest operating system, Fire OS, and a battery that's claimed can last up to 7 hours for normal use such as reading, browsing and watching videos.

Based on the above specification, the Amazon Fire tablet at a glance doesn't offer a lot of special things besides its affordable price. But luckily Amazon offers many additional items such as access to Amazon's Underground in which users will be able to access applications and games valued at $ 10,000 for free. And also additional access to music content, video, and of course the digital book.

Amazon Fire is currently displayed on Amazon official website with a tag of $ 49.99 and can be ordered through pre-order scheme. The release is scheduled on 30 September. As a sweetener, Amazon gives a free tablet for the buyers who order 5 units of the Amazon Fire tablet.
