Recently Microsoft often creates
new applications under the banner of Microsoft Garage, and now it launches a
new app called Twist.
At a glance the Twist application
looks like a messaging application in general. But when examined closer, the
Twist application is a conversation app in the form of photographs, where
basically the user will start a conversation by sending a new photo which has
been cut in half, and he/she has to wait for the receiver to complete the other
half part.
Of course the end results would be
diverse; they can look odd, funny, or very fit, depending on how each user
pours imagination and creates creative images.
Microsoft explains that the
purpose of this application is to provide a better experience on how to interact
through photos, emoji, stickers and animated gif. Twist brings joy, humor, and
creativity without limits to users, satisfaction that can't be obtained from
other conventional messaging applications.
Twist is also equipped with a
feature to store the conversation history that has ever been made, so it will
help the users to flashback if they missed a message. Unfortunately, for this
moment the Twist can be used only by users in the United States and Canada, and
only targeting iOS users.
