Skype conversation now can be followed by anyone without having to register first

Skype conversation

Last week, Microsoft apparently has released a major update to Skype, with an ambitious mission to provide free communication means to the entire world, Skype now has a new feature to invite anyone who wants to join with conversation, either one on one or in groups at once.

You just need to send a unique link to the intended person. The link can be sent via email, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp or any application that allows you to share text messages. From which the recipient can visit the link to join with the Skype conversation with you and other colleagues.

But the best part is the receiver doesn't need to make Skype account first, he doesn't need to download the Skype application; he can take advantage of Skype for Web directly in the browser. Now you can use Skype to talk to anyone, not just with people who have been registered in your Skype contact list. For now, this feature is only available to users in the US and the United Kingdom, while its availability in other regions, as well as in the mobile version will follow in the next few weeks.

This feature will be very useful for users who want to talk with elder family members or parents - who often have difficulty to understand how Skype works, including to register a new account. They now only need to click the link which has been sent to start the chat via Skype for Web.
