The name of JXD may not sound too familiar, but this
electronics company has been established since 1995 and provides MP3 players
and portable gaming consoles to a number of countries such as China, Hong Kong,
India, Middle East , Brazil, Mexico, Australia, USA and others.
JXD has recently released its latest portable game console
called Singularity S192; a device that's not only powerful, but also has a
unique shape. It comes with a 7-inch full-HD 1080p screen, and is equipped with
a number of action buttons on the right and a directional pad on the left so
it's like a big gaming joy stick that's combined with a screen right in the
middle of device.
Singularity S192 is powered by Nvidia's Tegra K1 with quad-core
2,0GHz ARM Cortex-A15 SoC and Nvidia's Kepler 192 CUDA-core GPU, this
combination presents maximum performance to run heavy games.
JXD Singularity S192 is equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB
internal storage, in addition, there are
also a pair of stereo speakers right at the bottom area of the screen, so that
JXD tablet is able to offer an optimal audio-visual experience.
Because basically this is a tablet, JXD Singularity S192
runs on the Android platform and comes with a number of connectivity features
just like other mobile devices. Some features that are brought by this device
are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band, Bluetooth 4.0, 13-megapixel rear camera
and 5-megapixel front camera.
For daily operation, JXD Singularity S192 is powered by the
10,000mAh battery that's claimed can last for six hours to play games, or
eleven hours for playing videos continuously in a single recharge.
JXD Singularity S192 has been released for the Chinese
market, and one unit is offered for US $ 300, slightly more expensive than
similar handheld console from NVidia, i.e. Project Shield that's sold for US $
200 (both have 16GB memory storage). Unfortunately, there is no information
when the JXD Singularity S192 will be available for markets outside China.
