For several years, Google Play has undergone many major
changes. Originally called as Android Market, this digital store now becomes a
source of all kinds of digital contents that can be enjoyed by users of Android
devices, ranging from applications, music, movies, games and much more.
Recently, there's a rumor which says that Google Play will
receive a new update again. The news comes from a Google employee named Kirill
Grouchnikov. Through Google +, he shares a series of screenshots that show the
new face of Google Play.
From the front page, Google Play is now divided into two
major categories: 'Apps & Games' and 'Entertainment'. The first category is
of course a place to package various applications and games, while the second
category is the place for a wide variety of music, movies, books and electronic
magazines. Underneath, there is a row which contains a number of tabs to enter
into specific parts quickly.
Not only the static visual elements, but the animated
elements in Google Play app are also enhanced. The transition from one color to
another color looks smoother, as well as the selection of contrasting colors to
distinguish the types of contents displayed.
So far there has been no official information on when this
update will be available for all users. Most likely this update will be
released in stages, before finally Google will announce the availability
globally.
Simply put, this kind of update is intended to provide easy
navigation for users. Through this update, it is expected the users can enter
the desired category faster than before.
