BeoLab 90 has a 125-centimeter tall and weighs 137 kilograms, the design looks contrast with the other speakers in general, the work of designer Frackenpohl Poulheim. The shape resembles to an artistic monolith, in which every sides keep drivers in a variety of sizes. Precisely, there are 18 Scan-Speak drivers: seven 30mm Illuminator tweeters, seven 86mm Illuminator midrange, three 212mm Discovery woofers, plus the 260mm Revelator woofer in front.

The drivers are placed precisely in order to provide 360-degree production sound. B&O also embeds Active Room Compensation technology so that the furniture and walls in the home won't reduce the output performance. Then, to make sure everyone in the room get the same experience of enjoying the music, you can expand its reach with Beam Width Control feature.

The configuration and setting can be done entirely through the remote application on the smartphone. Its inputs support analog, digital, and wireless: USB (24-bit/192kHz), S/P-DIF (24-bit/192kHz, Toslink (24-bit/96kHz), XLR, RCA and WISA -  wireless technology in 5,2-5,8GHz transmission, serving a 24-bit 96KHz audio without compression.

BeoLab 90 is utilizing a combination of the latest generation of ICEpower amplifiers in 14-channels, plus four Class D amplifiers, making sure B&O BeoLab 90 can produce a booming sound at 8,200-watt per speaker.
